The location is marvellous and pleasant, very close to the township in a lovely area. the rooms are fairly quiet and elegant, with views to the front. the service is exceptional overall, and there is parking on site.

Floating above the stunning countryside, taking in the breathtaking views, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The thrill of being up in the air, coupled with the peacefulness and serenity, made this hot air balloon ride truly enchanting. The 32-inch TV in our room was an added bonus, perfect for cozy movie nights with the family.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if there were more family-friendly activities available.

We had a wonderful stay at Grandhouse York Guesthouse. The host made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with high-quality furniture and linen. The beds were extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. We enjoyed delicious homemade afternoon tea with cakes and coffee, and the host provided us with great recommendations for local attractions. The patio area was a relaxing spot to enjoy a few wines and play cards. The grounds were lovely, and waking up to the sound of birdsong was a delight. The breakfast selection was amazing, with homemade yogurt and spiced pears that were simply divine. Despite being managed by only one person during our visit, the service was outstanding. We can't wait to return to this B&B again. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Grandhouse York Guesthouse was a delightful place to stay. The decoration was charming and gave a cozy feeling, especially in the common areas. It felt like a home away from home. The access to the hotel was very convenient for seniors, with easy entry points and well-lit hallways. The friendly staff made sure everything was accessible and comfortable for us older folks.

The only thing I would have asked for to make it a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the staff. While the young ones working there were polite, a little more support in carrying luggage or offering assistance with mobility would have been appreciated.

The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. We especially enjoyed the sitting area and terrace, where we could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of little extra touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. we had a fantastic experience here, and we would definitely recommend it to our friends.

I stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised by the clean and spacious rooms. The little extras, like complimentary sherry and port in the lounge area, added a special touch. The hosts, Ron & Leanne, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of their extended family. The well-equipped lounge area offered plenty of books and music, creating a cozy atmosphere. I also loved the beautiful grounds and the option to enjoy breakfast in my room.

The hosts, Ron and Leanne, made us feel like extended family and were incredibly welcoming and informative. The well-equipped lounge area with complimentary evening sherry or port allowed us to relax and unwind. The breakfast delivered to our room was generous and delicious. The gardens and decor added to the lovely ambience of the place. a fantastic stay with lots of little unexpected added touches.

Felt like being home, no complaints at all.
